Im looking to install a meter before a 160A three phase sub board. Any one recommend a decent meter and ct's.

Ask them for a CoP 5 compliant meter and they also give you the correct CT's

No connection btw - we just specified loads of them on a recent project

should I know what cop 5 is

Code of Practice 5 (Meters) - look for Measuring Instruments Directive (MID)

You may not need that if you aren't billing someone for the energy supplied - but it does give you a good gaurantee of acuracy etc
I mentioned it in response to your 160A supply - being over 100kW

Universal metering services do a ct meter with various sized ct's too.

If you look them up on the web you'll find them.

No connection other than we buy a few from them for farm sub metering

I've installed and used the IC970 and am impressed.

and in my case - they do a fantastic metal clad enclosure, to which I fit all the autometers equipment. I know they do the whole package of meters, enclosures, CTs etc. They are certainly very nice to deal with. I've had a very personal service and have dealt directly with the owner.
