Hi whats the exact situation on low nergy lighting ? is it 80 % low energy on a new build ?. If its not a new build but refurb these regs dont apply unless its all back to bare brick ? if they do and there masses of spotlights i guess just changing the bulb for a low energy bulb will suffice ??

The figure is 75%. At one time it was 25% and dedicated low energy type lamp holders had to be fitted. That changed a couple of years or so ago and now normal holders can be used with low energy lamps. This all only applies to new builds. I've never heard of the bare brick thing,
Dave. |
