Anyone completed a Non-Licensed Asbestos Removal Course?
I hadn't realised that there is a new set of Asbestos regulations as of April 2012 and was just looking through a few articles on line. Completing the above course apparently allows you to carry on working with most asbestos containing products in a domestic situation, the course isn't expensive, but the training certificate appears to need renewal every twelve months. My understanding is it covers you for work such as removing fuse holders with asbestos pads in them, taking down sheds and garages, removing sheet panels, floor tiles removal and stripping Artex etc.
