You should include an introduction, description and purpose of the installation, emergency procedures, manufacturers information including warranties and guarantees, maintenance requirements including recommended list of spares, record drawings, certification/commissioning results, residual H&S and environmental information and de-commissioning procedures.

You don't need to complete the O&M manual, you just need to identify what "headings" it should contain and a brief description of what you would include under each heading.
Use this at your risk, but the sort of headings you are looking for are: The purpose of the installation and index of designers, installers etc (all interested parties) The technical specification of the installation and safety related information The operation of the installation and safety aspects Manufactureres information and recommendations on use of equipment Modifications to the systems Disposal of the systems As Installed drawings regards OMS ------------------------- Failure is always an option |

The O&Ms put on the shelf and added to as the job progressed The O&Ms started at the beginning of the job not scurrying round at the end trying to complete MrP |
