I guess they shut it down to get her off there - but in the photos, she would only have been at real risk whilst stepping onto the flight - standing on the jumper and hanging on to the insulator still leaves her free of earth contact.

Bit foolish though !!

They are stockton dampers. and looking at the way shes climbed onto that there is NO way that circuit was energised any of the time, especially the way shes making contact across the arcing horn/primary half of insulator. She would have definately been frazzled.

Yes I would agree, but not much good if the Kangeroos are loose in the top paddock - One would hope that this will be considered by her in the future to be a Bridge too far !
