Hi All, Does anyone have any recommendations for a supplier who can advise on the best type of kit that will provide a good vivid illumination for transluscent panels on a portable circular cocktail bar that will be in 4 separate sections, similar in style to this picture -

I've used Mr Resistor in Wandsworth, SW London a few times. Good showroom, good website but not cheap; but then the clients didnt object to throwing cash at what they wanted. Other clients are happy with simple RGB changing kits from Ikea or Wickes.

Have a look at smd5050s, I do have a supplier for them but I certainly would not recommend them cheap ish, lights are great service is shockingly bad take a few attempts to get the right gear delivered!

ELD do some cracking low cost stuff. I get mine in Andover from a company called TEW.

Just looked at the picture is this really LED of Cold cathode?

Hi Martyn, the pic came from a firm offering a colour changing LED bar so I assuming it's not cold cathode. I'm hoping that 35W of strip per panel ( 7 M of strip @ 5 W/M round the outside of each panel) is going to be sufficient as I'm just about to order over a £grands worth!

HI Mate,

I installed about 30M in a bar area used a company called CED
was pretty decent stuff, take a look at there website they dont supply
direct but have stockists up and down the country.
