Customer finance....... was asked today, instantly said no but got me thinking for a finance company to take it n would need to be doing some turnover.

Is it something maybe the bigger PV guys offer?

They may, but it's a real pain if you want to offer it yourself. Last time I even thought about this (which was a long time ago), even saying 'you can go to XYZ to get finance' counted as financial advice and would require registration with the FSA! It may be simpler now.

You could perhaps have suggested that they approach their own bank.
Unless they'd already done so and were unable to get the required amount.

My Bank manager once told me "We`d love to give people loans for Burglar Alarm Systems etc etc but they very seldom ask, they do often ask for loans for the weirdest things at times but rarely for sensible things like Burglar Alarms!"
I wonder if the same is true for rewires and PV etc etc?

asking them to approach their own bank might indeed be just what`s needed.

If your customers have credit cards, just get a card terminal so they can spend it in your direction........

I have searching for the best credit card deal and with all of the recent credit card security issues I have been seeing on the news, I have left undecided. Apparently, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has released a brand new study about credit reports. It found, among other things, that charge card activity is the solitary most important element examined by credit rating agencies when figuring out credit worthiness.

Worse still, the FSA has been replaced by the FCA and FSA is now the Food Standards Agency. They do like to help keep it simple :-)
