it's what is inside the box that matters! What if the Wagobox is marked (MF) and a different make of connector is fitted inside?

To indicate that the connections inside the enclosure do not require inspecting.
I suppose, that someone could purchase a maintenance free accessory, then remove the maintenance free connectors and replace them with non-maintenance free connectors.
One would have to wonder why they would do that though.

I spoke to Wago about BS compliance 3 months ago.......they still don't comply.....

Does the Ashley comply with BS5733:2010 ?

14.3.6:
Screwless terminals which are intended to be used for the interconnection of two or more conductors shall be so designed that:
a) during the insertion, the operation of the clamping part of one
of the conductors is independent of the operation of that of the
other conductor(s)
