guys,
seem to remember in the 16th there being a reg for fixed AND hose shower heads in a shower area without tray ( wet room ). It seems to me in the 17th there is only regs quoted for wet rooms with fixed heads.... what are the regs therefore on hose outlets, ie riser rails with moveable hose shower heads? or am i just missing it in special locations??? thanks |

There is an extended zone 1 (1.2m) from the fixed outlet if there is no basin. For a basin shower, Zone 1 is limited by the basin in a vertical plane.
take a look at the diagrams in Section 701 for details OMS ------------------------- Failure is always an option |

Or is it 1.2M from the point of hose connection to the wall as some have (mis?)understood it?!

Common sense says take it as fixed in its usual position.
You can't really regislate for anyone mindlessly spraying outside the shower while naked. |
