You mean you couldn't remember what happened after you got your test kit out after four hours drinking?

It's funny, because even when you go away on holiday, you can't help yourself, looking at the electrical installation. My wife says I do it and to be fair I can't help it. I'm assuming it was in the UK Ant? Perhaps the guy had a short memory span

I was playing pool in the pub and there was a games machine that was really loud and I wanted to switch it off. I then saw the Zs readings on the sockets. The readings were within limits
I went to the south coast for 2 weeks and now back to real life again! Yes Jobbo I was in the super market there and also noticed a funny piece of conduit that looked strange to say the least |

It's one of those things I suspect a lot of us do. I had a week in Cyprus back in June and was looking at the overhead network whilst on the coach from the airport to the hotel and comparing it with ours.
Got into the hotel and couldn't help but notice the UK brand fittings used in lots of areas. I've seen Zdb readings written on distribution boards before, but never Zs on sockets. Perhaps it's part of JP's gold standard Stu |

Hi Terry
As it's your first post - I wont ignore you. Zdb is the Zs of a sub distribution circuit. Regards Ady ------------------------- Resistance is futile. |

We can be driving along and I will suddenly say "Core - look at that!" My Wife used to think I`d seen a buxom blonde or something but nowadays realises I've seen a transformer on a pole in a field.

Have to confess to pencilling the Ze of my own boards next to them with the date and a smiley face if it's a good one on a TT and if I installed the electrodes.
TT snobbery. Zs |

I been on my holidays lately and when in the pub I noticed the Zs readings written on the sockets. I wonder how many subsequent PIRs will have exactly the same figure recorded in column 12 of the schedule of test results for that circuit? One level above a drive-by I suppose |

Not that you are being cynical of course!

Not that you are being cynical of course! I couldn't possibly comment :-) Of course having worked for one of the contract maintenance companies for a while and seeing "site log books" filled in with the same numbers for alleged test results, visit after visit, I have certain misgivings. |
