Morning All
Bit of a long shot this. I'm in dispute with my "local" wholesaler. I won't mention names but they are nationwide and their title consists of three capital letters!. I'm having no success in resolving the dispute with the rep or branch manager and this has been dragging on for over four months now. It's seriously getting me down. Does anyone have any contact details for anyone in a senior position I can outline my problem to at either a regional (Glasgow south) or National level. At the moment things have literally hit a brick wall. I just want the situation resolved as amicably as is possible. If they could PM me details of any contacts I'd be greatly appreciative Many Thanks |

I have had issues with certain wholesalers
I make sure that I get lines with prices on them when I pick stuff up- and check them against the lines that get sent or emailed for discrepencies ------------------------- baldelectrician.com |

Does anyone have any contact details for anyone in a senior position I can outline my problem to at either a regional (Glasgow south) or National level. Business directories such as Dunn & Bradstreet normally have the names of the senior employees of companies; such as, managing director, financial director, sales director etc... Public libraries usually have these directories, if you tell them what you're looking for they'll point you in the right direction. Good luck. Mike |

It's amazing the details of every branch is on their website but no head office details! why? I think we all know who we are talking about? This could be the HO address - 141 Farmer Ward Road, Kenilworth, Warwickshire, CV8 2SU I'm sure I have details or a Regional Manager somewhere - I'll look. Has the branch manager refused to provide you with info? |

Thanks for the replies guys.
Without going into too much detail this is an ongoing issue over billing for materials that were not supplied. It has been ongoing since April. On each occasion I have contacted my sales rep and the branch manager I have been told the issue is being "dealt with". However to date it has not been "dealt with". My requests for further information such as proof of delivery etc have met a brick wall. My account however remains debited for the materials. There seems to be a definite "if we ignore him he'll go away or eventually pay approach". The amount involved is not enough to bankrupt me but it would get me a good fortnight in Spain!. |

The 'phone number for their head office is (01926) 514380. Sorry, the Regional Manager's number I have is for one of their competitors. TBH, whilst you don't want to loose a business relationship, I would fight them to clear your account and then move on.
Good luck. |

There seems to be a definite "if we ignore him he'll go away or eventually As regards customer relations some of the large national companies are dinosaurs. Several years ago it took me over three months to get an incorrect invoice amended despite informing them immediately that it was incorrect. I had been charged 10 times too much for a 100 metre reel of 2.5 T&E (£260 instead of £26) I received threatening letters from them despite phoning several times about their mistake. I eventually wrote to the MD and the problem was resolved, I paid the correct bill and immediately closed my account with them. |

Thanks for all the replies to this thread.
I have had the problem resolved. If anyone in Scotland has a similar problem in the future and needs any contact details feel free to PM me and I will pass them on. The lessons I've learned here are...1,Trust your gut when you think you're being f'd about, you probably are, 2. Keep ALL paperwork, 3. Keep work diary up todate with all work phonecalls and communications with suppliers and customers. Phew...! Happy now though! :-D |
