No, not the half way switch on this unit. Sadly. But the MK ones do that too. My Christmas morning call-out last year was one of those. Did you know that a half way down trip indicates RCD and a full trip indicates Short circuit? Or so I am told.

I suppose it could be condensation anywhere and he will call me later. He has friends round and they will be enjoying themselves with earth leakage meters and what he refers to as a 'wet finger'. These guys know as much as all of us so I can leave them to it for now. If Ihad time I'd be there. I love a fault find. Tell you what though, it isn't for want of a drip loop....you ever seen my tails?

It is an RCCB in the light of it being a farm. 705.411.1 ii) as it is now. I made them have it. There is talk of replacing it with a straightforward main switch for good (not from me). As far as I can see from big red that's a no no.
