Hi can anyone confirm if there is a reg that exists for the disconnection of a circuit fed by an MCB in a special location with a disconnection time of 0.2s looked in the regs book 17th 2008 & GN7 and cant find it anywhere if it exist please would give us the reg ref.
(the above query is for a MCB, fully aware of the use of RCD) Regards Martin |

There is no requirement for 0.2 sec disconnection; except table 41.1 for TT installations. Final circuits up to and including 32A. This is not specific to bathrooms though.

There used to be 0.2s disconnection for some special locations in previous editions of the regs.
