I'm sure this has been covered on more than one occasion before, but can anyone recommend a high accuracy loop impedance tester that can be used for testing in close proximity to a DNO TX (within 10 metres of a 500kVA unit)?
I do recall someone has mentioned a meter with four digits in the past? Obviously the values can be obtained by calculation using the transformer impedance /reflecting the primary impedance into the secondary (knowing the H.V fault level), but I just thought I'd ask. |

I do recall someone has mentioned a meter with four digits in the past? Careful not to confuse resolution with accuracy. It is entirely possible to have an instrument with a high resolution but a low accuracy! ------------------------- Ross Currie TMIET |
