How this for good business I've a customer with 8 Eaton TDW1 din rail time clocks (trade price £90.00 each) These clocks can be locked with a pin number which is in a sense, a good idea. That's until you lose the number or a member of staff who is leaving changes the numbers, which is what's happened here. Eaton inform me you can't reset the pin nether can they if you return it to them, so you've guessed it you have to buy another, what a rip off, how many jobs do you go to where the clients have lost the key for the locked DB or you find the drawings and circuit charts are missing. Eaton have realised a nice market in pins that get forgotten or set years ago by someone no longer with the company, what a nice little earner. I will now have to order 8 new clocks and they won't be Eaton, I would steer clear of these because when your customer asks you how to reset the pin they will think your ripping them off.

I think you will find these clocks are not made by Eaton but are just Re-badged made by a company called Theben, Try looing on their site and see if you can find the same there and contact them, they might be more help than eaton.
