Builders have cut through underfloor heating cable... has anyone repaired a cable? If so, how can it be done?

Thanks in advance...

i repaired one a couple of years ago .i just spoke to the manufactures and they sent a repair kit out .if i remember corectly it just involved soldering 2 link wires in and covering in shrink wrap .i suppose it depends on the make .first call would be to the makers and see what they suggest.

Also depends on location. If it's in a wet room, you'll need to ensure the integrity of the outer protective conductor.

Strange but I imagined you were talking about the MICC underfloor heating, not the mat type. My age, ya know!
