I'm looking for some advice and/or recommendations for training on the applications of Lightning protection for industrial buildings.

I'd really like to find something which introduces the fundamental underlying principles, so I'm better able to understand the how the BS EN 62305 standard should be applied in an industrial context.

I've already obtained a copy of the Lightning Protection book on the IET site (http://www.theiet.org/resource...htning-protection.cfm) but am looking for an introduction as this clearly is an involved subject.

Any ideas or advice would be appreciated.

A chap called Robin Earl of Dehn (uk) would be worth a call. He did a great half day for our lecturers. It gave us exactly what you are looking for.
phone 07791021144 Office 0184859111 email robin.earl@dehn.co.uk
Feel free to mention me and DCET Training
