hi all, ive been in the royal navy for 2 years as a engineering technician and have an NVQ level 2 in electrical/mechanical engineering, and will be leaving the navy within the next year hoping to become an electrician, i am 25 and told that this is to old to easily find an apprenticeship so im looking at ether a full time course(not shur witch course) or for my father, a retired electrician to set up a small buisness with the purpose of teaching me and getting me qualified (again not shur witch qualification) NVQ or city and guilds.
any advice would be much appreciated danny |

It changes from month to month (or so it seems) but its CG2330 at the moment i think. The academic year started nearly 2 months ago but give it a go and try to get on a course
