Hi Everybody

I took an HNC in Electronics with COLU University of Teesside in 2009 under SQA examinations board. I was looking at toping up my qualification to HND, but COLU have changed examboards to EDXCEL. It looks like EDXCEL assess SQA HNC not as a completed qualification and put you under prior learning experience. This means that is cost extra money and modules to get an HND. Has anybody had this problem and gone through prior learning with COLU? Also do you think that it is worth upgrading to the HND in my case? I would like to work in medical physics and the job ads state that you should have HNC, HND or BEng.

Regards

Neil

University of Bradford offers accredited B Eng (Hons) and Foundation Degrees in Electrical/Electronic and Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering by distance learning - some attendance required at summer schools/examinations, but this is minimal. More importantly, 2011 fees will be maintained for students enrolling before 1st May 2012 (due to increase four-fold in Sept 2012).
