Hi everybody
I am just enquiring if anybody knows where you can do voluntary work to gain Electronics Engineering experience. I can fit in approximately 2 days at the moment. My main reason for doing this would be to break the circle of failing to even get interviews through not having enough experience. I gained an HNC Electronics through SQA and I have an HNC in computing along with an HNC in Motor Vehicle Engineering Management. I am currently 40+ and have worked in the NHS for 8 years in various data jobs. I am currenty a carer at this moment in time catering for a family illness and in the part-time work domain. I need to get my career back on track and build and experience profile on my CV in Electronics. I am thinking about approaching a Medical Physics Department to gain experience through voluntary work. Can anybody see any problems to this? There may be other organisations who will set on Electronics engineers under voluntary terms. Does anybody know any? Please reply if you have any good ideas.
