Just got mine today and had a quick look through
for question 1 part 2 i have done my bending diagram and checked it with the formulas and get a strange result for m1 and m2 which makes the diagram look flat between these points whih i thought is odd and it makes answering part 5 difficult, im not wanting to get the answer off anyone its just a little different from how the examples are in the lesson but if someone said it should be like that and the nas to part V was beteween then i know ive done it right chers ian |

Hi - I am currently doing this question and after checking over it several times I get the same "flat line" between m1 and m2, and like yourself I don't want the answer just a note to say whether I'm on the right track or not - any help appreciated - thanks

Hi gollum
that is the correct answer it lies betwen those points. The Tma's are instantly comparable to th elessons and do require a bit extra thought. any advice needed pm me and ill try and point you in th eright direction, also the tutors are more than happy to answer questions like this as it shows you ave understanding and when it comes to the end of unit interview they will ask less questions as they feel they know you have grasped certain aspects. Cheers ian |
