Hi there,

I am working on an existing installation with an11kV/650V transformer. As part of the project, an addition lower rating 650v/650V transformer is proposed to limit PSCC value. Now my question is, during a black start when both transformers will get energized simultaneously do I need to consider the inrush current of both the transformer to check the suitability of the protection device upstream to the first transformer, or is the inrush current of the downstream transformer limited to the fuse protecting it.

Regards
