Library and Archives - Case file solved: the mystery of the missing books | ![]() |

The second hand bookshop Skoob based in London, recently had delivered a house clearance. In amongst the numerous crates, 33 IEE/IET Library books were found, these books were purloined illegally, but were returned without charge by the kind people at Skoob,
Out of the 33 books returned, 5 had been replaced as they were very popular 7 were no longer in print so we were unable to replace and the majority of the rest were marked as missing which meant a member had wanted to borrow them but couldn't..
So if in your travels you come across any of our books either on second-hand books shelves or at car boot sales they may still be part of the Institutions property.
