I have noticed over the years of bashing millions of cable clip nails into many types of surfaces, that,

1, If I bash the nail with a hammer with regularly timed bashes the nail is more likely to bend and not drive home cleanly.

2. If I bash in an irregular manner then the nail is more likely to drive home successfully.

Question. Does the bashing in case 1 above cause any form of "resonance" that disturbs the driving in action?

Does irregular bashing with a hammer act like soldiers breaking step when about to march over a bridge?

Bye,

Z.

I think the universe or the nails themselves predict what you're wanting to do and deliberately oppose you... the less predictable you can be the better. If one nail bends even slightly I just pin-plug the whole run. Screw those bloody nails!
