Safety aspects of equipment operation
A health and safety briefing provided by the IET.
This guidance covers high-level safe equipment operation. In addition to operating equipment, including machinery, operators also undertake routine short-duration tasks such as changing machine set-up, inspections and superficial cleaning. Such tasks need to be carried out safely without risk to the wellbeing of the operator or others.
