List of IET factfiles with brief abstracts

The IET has drawn upon the expertise of its members to produce a comprehensive variety of concise documents on a wide range of engineering related topics to help IET members and the public understand often complex and technical subjects.

Topics covered include information on energy, health and safety, possible health effects of mobile phones and pylons, information technology, transport and manufacturing.

Factfiles are regularly used by members and the public as an information resource on issues affecting their daily lives, and many documents, especially energy related, have been used by the House of Commons Library to inform MPs of important issues on forthcoming parliamentary debates.
