About this event

Please note the 1 week postponement in the start of these workshops.

Content creators often use surprisingly low budget equipment but in novel ways. High quality results can be obtained from webcams or mobile phones by combining proper planning with an understanding of how to get the most from the technologies.

These workshops will guide you through the planning and production of a piece of content. Supported by Production and Technology students from the School of Media Arts and Technology, you will use industry insights and technical know-how to get the most out of your ideas and equipment. You will shoot your content and learn techniques that can be applied within our suites or using freeware applications so that you can use the skills and knowledge gained beyond the sessions.

Programme

The sessions will run over 4 weeks, and are a series. You would ideally attend all 4 sessions to get the most benefit - and finish your piece.

The sessions will run on 15th, 22nd, 29th November & 6th December

18:30 - Arrivals
18:45 - Session starts
20:30 - Session ends
