About this event

E-mobility is the future direction of the society which gives zero emission and low pollution at road size. However, with the battery capacity limitation and long charging duration, it generates a lot of difficulties to electrify bus/mini-bus for commercial purpose. To resolve this, opportunity charging regime with High Power Charging System is one of possible solution.

This activity is to visit the first high power charging station and e-minibus solution deployed jointly with Green Mobility Innovation Ltd (GMI) and Siemens in Hong Kong. GMI is a Hong Kong based Technology Company with core scope of business on designing, developing, manufacturing the electric and hybrid electric. Their products cover Range Extended Hybrid Electric Coach and Minibus and made in Hong Kong. Siemens is at the forefront of e-charging technology to help operators find a tailored solution to their individual challenges. The solution comprises fast charging solutions for opportunity charging on the route.
