About this event

HYPED is working on a new form of transportation called the Hyperloop which aims to shorten the journey from London to Edinburgh to 45 minutes. In August, we were finalists of the SpaceX pod competition as one of 24 international teams, and the only UK team having designed and built a functional prototype pod. This year, we were once again selected as one of 20 finalist and will be competing at SpaceX headquarters this summer. We are also winners of the Virgin Hyperloop One Global Challenge, where we created a feasibility study on the Edinburgh to London route - we are one of 10 winners and the only student team to have won this challenge.
