About this event

The Present Around The World is a global competition for Young Professionals and Students within engineering to develop and showcase presentation skills.

You don’t have to be a member of the IET to enter but must be 18-30 years of age and be prepared to:
- Deliver a 10-minute presentation on an engineering or technology related area
- Enhance your knowledge
- Develop your skills
- Increase your profile and
- Open doors for your career

A cash reward of £150 and £100 will be award to the winner and the runner-up respectively as well as certificates of participation. The winner of this local event will take part in a West Midlands area heat, from which the winner will enter the National Finals, with the chance to compete in the global final.


17:30 Arrivals, Light refreshments and networking

18:00 Presentations commence

20:00 Presentations conclude, judges deliberating

20:30 Feedback provided to contestants & prizes awarded

21:30 Evening concludes
