10:30-11:30 “User Experience (UX) in innovation” by IxDC (www.ixdc.org) 
Innovation should relate to user experience especially in how to apply technology in daily life and market. UX is a design thinking process with user research for technology and market. Experts of UX can implement a blueprint to deliver the whole project in innovation and process. UX can also help in polish of products and find out the blue ocean market through user experience research.

About the Speaker – Mr Sic Leung
  • The committee of IxDC and the chairman of IxDC Hong Kong;
  • Lecturer at art and design school in Shantou University ;
  • PTVL at school of design in Hong Kong PolyU;
  • An UX expert and consultant of three companies;
  • Established the first incubator for innovation project with different disciplines at Shantou University with the support of Li Ka Shing foundation in 2015; and 
  • Broad knowledge in tech development, design process and business development
11:30-12:00 Tour of Inno Space
Inno Space is a new startup platform established by the Hong Kong Productivity Council with the Govenrment’s support. We aim to help startups, students, makers and designers take their innovations from idea to industry. Our facilities include an event space, 3D body scanners, VR/AR equipment, motion-capturing equipment, and a workshop with 3D printers, laser cutting machines, soldering irons, traditional machinery and more. This tour will also briefly introduce other HKPC centres, including 3D Printing One and Smart Industry One.
