About this event

The speaker will be Jeremy Flack.

This presentation will take us through the History of Aviation from the very early days of biplanes and open cockpits, through the war-planes to modern jet fighters. It will be a visual feast of photographs taken from the ground, in the air and in service ready for action.

Jeremy’s interest in aviation started as an air cadet and he visited numerous airfields. His camera recorded every event and, 50 years on, he has an extensive library of more than 150,000 photos. These have been used in many magazines and newspapers. He has 30 books of his own published covering aircraft, ships, vehicles, weapons and more modern military history.
