About this event

Eddie Maguire will lead this seminar on improving your interview techniques.
The IET Buckinghamshire Local Network is here to support you with your professional development.
Great candidates can fail to get the job they want because they stumble at interview.  You can increase your chances dramatically by understanding the “rules” of interview and how to prepare.

In this workshop we’ll look at :
•         Analysing job descriptions for insight into what’s important for the employer
•         How to prepare and present your expertise and skills
•         What to expect with different interview types
•         How to deal with the “tricky questions”
•         How to boost your confidence

At the end of the workshop participants will know how to prepare and present themselves in the best way.

We have organised a programme of LIFESKILLS & Local:SKILLS workshops that have been specifically developed to help you with CPD.

We do recommend that you attend all the workshops between September 2017 to June 2018 to fully benefit from the programme; but it is not essential.

This is the 5th seminar in the 2017/18 programme.

  • Doors open 7 pm
