About this event

Leyland Motors originally made steam driven vehicles and in the early 20th century they started making petrol driven cars, wagons and buses. During the war they also made Tanks.

This lecture will tell us of the development of the company and its effect on the local economy.


This talk will be preceded by an optional dinner costing £20.  This can be booked by contacting Jim Hindle (jim.hindle@btinternet.com).
The talk will commence at approximately 20:45.
