About this event

A presentation will cover the developments of remote inspection and intervention techniques used to maintain and decommission the UK's nuclear facilities. It will give a background of the UKs nuclear power stations (AGRs and PWRs) and the unique nature of the UK's AGR fleet leading to why they require bespoke inspection services. It will explain some of the tasks undertaken to date. The presentation will be followed by a tour of the onsite lab facilities covering materials testing, NDT and the two large rig halls. The groups will have the chance to use a number of ROV’s.
