About this event

Synopsis of talk: Protecting the intellectual property (IP) in a product can be an essential part of the product development process, but is often misunderstood. IP include patents, trade marks, copyright and many other aspects, and can be used to protect inventions, brands and more. With a sound IP strategy, you can stop other people using your idea, and provide a new income source too. We will discuss IP in relation to some recent and well known cases, to show how it can be used to great effect.
