About this event

Objective:

The micro:bit is an ARM-based embedded system designed by for use in computer education. This event is enabling teachers and students to embark on their micro:bit learning journey, and ultimately bring their learning experiences back to their schools/workshops to potentially starting their own micro:bit initiatives.
During this event, students in groups of 3-5 will use their passion, creative thinking, and hard work to brainstorm, design, build, make, and code to build prototypes and solve real-world challenges. 


Speaker:

Mr.Waris Candra is a passionate education technology educator and entrepreneur who serves education community in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and South East Asia countries. He currently represents CLASSROOM Group of Companies headquartered in Hong Kong. Candra has served as brand representative and advocate for prominent education technology and robotics brands like Wonder Workshop Dash and Dot, BBC micro:bit, Bloxels, Ozobot and Classroom Training Centre. He focuses on the full  adoption of technology in improving teaching and learning effectiveness for teachers, parents, students and school administrators.
