About this event

Knowledge is a key business asset, but often under-regarded and ignored.  It is a refinable and saleable asset of the organisation.  Its value is internal, in the quality of our products and services and the value they deliver.  It can be productised as a saleable resource.  This discussion considers some of the aspects of identifying knowledge assets and their business value.  It considers some features of productising embedded knowledge, and the use of knowledge audit to identify opportunities.

Big data and converged technology has begun to show its full potential.  Drawing on the presenter’s experience of working in new technology development and large scale change projects, the talk considers aspects of knowledge product classification, and shares some observations on the implications of productised knowledge in the value proposition businesses and the region might seek to offer.

Refreshments available from 6.30pm, lecture starts at 7.00pm.
The lecture will be held at:
ALEX Reading Room
Institute of Sustainable Design UWTSD
