About this event

The Power Technical group invites you to attend the energy symposium. The event is Free to attend and it adds to your Continuous Professional Development (CPD) hours. Please register your place now by clicking the link below as the seats are limited.

The event features an excellent opportunity to network with peers from industry and academia while viewing posters with cutting edge research from researchers from the three leading universities in Greater Manchester.

Two guided technical visits will also be provided on the day to the University of Manchester’s facilities. The academics involved within these facilities will be able to answer questions into their use and importance for the future electrical energy.

Programme

6pm – 6:30pm: Networking and refreshments

6.30pm – 6.35pm: Event opening by Dr. Muhammad Ali (Chair of the IET Manchester PTG) and by Dr. Vidyadhar Peesapati (Knowledge Transfer Fellow at the University of Manchester)

6.35pm - 8pm: Poster session and guided tour to the two facilities, refreshments will be served throughout the evening

8pm - 8.15pm: Announcement of the Poster competition winners and closing speech by the Chair
