About this event

Ron East has had many years of bell ringing experience and this has led him to become involved in a much wider role as Diocesan Advisor. In an illustrated talk, Ron will cover many interesting facts relating to church bells including manufacture, installation, maintenance, disposal and relocation, as well as the actual ringing of them. Modern technology has had some impact with the development of computer driven simulator programs which permit silent operation of bells and other applications. Talk is followed by optional lunch; see flyer for details and cost of lunch.
