About this event

Manufacturing is undergoing a revolution - The 4th Industrial Revolution “4IR”. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at LJMU is supporting Liverpool City Region (LCR) enterprises in this revolution. Case studies will include the government recognised, ERDF funded LCR4.0 project - helping SMEs with 4IR, MTC@LJMU, BRE@LJMU, Sensor City and harnessing the Degree Apprenticeship agenda to develop the future highly skilled workforce. The event includes a tour of facilities and industry leading speakers exploring how a civic university can use its strengths to grow manufacturing in LCR
