About this event

Amec Foster Wheeler’s Birchwood facility is a development and testing facility that supports the UK nuclear industry. The facility is spread across 9 buildings and includes Engineering Workshops, Materials test facilities and Chemistry labs. The tour will provide you with an overview of the types of work done to support both the current nuclear stations and new build projects.

Free transport will be provided from the University of Liverpool, if you would like to take advantage of this please contact the event organiser directly. Alternatively you can make your own way to the facilities upon registering.
