Echills Wood Model Railway is a 7½" gauge, 1/8th scale model railway with stem and "diesel" engines and ride-on carriages.

The visit includes a tour of the engine sheds, workshops, signalling, track, and a 20 minute ride.

Young people especially welcomed, they will enjoy the event and be inspired to consider STEM subjects at school.

This is the fifth year that we have visited the railway and the event is always popular.

NB Car parking charges. Exact change please. Please see Kingsbury Water Park for the current charges.
 
The railway is in the Kingsbury Water Park north of Coleshill.
 

There is a cafe in the park and lots of activities for young people, most are free.
