About this event

Customers and Society need faster, cheaper and better communications services. Telemetry from communications networks and operations can be used to create data resources and these can then be exploited to generate opportunities for improvements in the networks and the operations that maintain them. In this talk Simon will outline the innovations that have made this a practical technology, describe some examples of data innovations that have been developed at BT and outline both the constraints and limitations of modern data technology, ethics and regulation. He will also describe the exciting innovations in Machine Learning and data processing emerging from academic and cutting edge commercial research that are expanding the possibilities for taking this work forward.
