About this event

The Ring Main Unit (RMU) has been a longstanding element of Medium Voltage (MV) distribution architecture for many years.  This presentation from Schneider Electric will discuss the very latest design developments in this form of switching and control technology.  Based on their SF6 gas insulated Ringmaster RN2d unit, they will provide attendees at this event with details of the latest design innovations and improvements that have been developed and incorporated into this unit to improve the operation and safety of the circuit breaker and switches.

Weather permitting an RMU will be on show in the car park for a 'hands on' demonstration.
