About this event

There is a high expectation from 5G networks of the future. They are expected to bring flexibility and control of the service layer, as fixed and mobile networks converge with backward compatibility.

The solution is likely to deploy advance massive MIMO radio solutions with different radio base station hierarchy, Software Defined Network and Network Function Virtualisation.
This presentation gives an overview of the driving motivation and range of stakeholders in defining the requirements for the 5G networks, and touches on the likely creation of new business opportunities in various use cases such as: media and IT cloud services, healthcare, social care, utilities control and smart metering, autonomous vehicles, railway systems and supply chain.
