About this event

This talk will give an overview of what we can expect to see in the coming decades from our transport network. The presentation will answer questions such as: What will our vehicles be capable of? Will we really be able to get around seamlessly without interacting with the car? What are the challenges and the solutions that the engineering community need to address in the coming years? The talk will address what needs to be done to answer these questions by looking at the development of our cars and the transport system itself. The talk will provide an insight into the technical, political and societal challenges that face us.
