Organised by the UK - SW:Bristol local network.

About this event

Many billionaires are investing in new high tech ways to explore or travel to space, but launching a rocket is not rocket science. By jettisoning previous wisdom in how to launch a rocket, Orbex aims to create a launcher that is 10% of the cost of the current cheapest (and about 10% of the research and development costs currently going into other projects).

Martin introduced us to this project a year ago, and has kindly accepted our invitation to return and satisfy our curiosity: one year on, what has happened? What progress has been made? For a start, there has been the first live engine test, the results of which Martin will present. He will also focus on delivering the project financially and technically, and offer some insights and tips about supply chain challenges.

19:00 - Free refreshments and networking
19:30 - Presentation begins
