About this event

Speaker’s Bio 
Morgan is a highly motivated young engineer who is well-versed in computer-aided design and optics. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, as well as a Master’s degree in Advanced Materials Engineering, both from University of Liverpool. He moved to Singapore in 2013 and joined the IET Singapore in 2016. Morgan has been a dedicated volunteer with the Young Professional Section of the IET Singapore. As YPS Committee Member, he contributed time and effort to organising many events, including the IET CEng Talk, the 40th Anniversary Celebration as well as PATW. He was appointed as a Life Skills Trainer thanks to his outstanding communication and presentation skills.

This workshop is suitable for anyone, from students, young professionals, managers to executives. In this workshop, Morgan will guide you on how to manage a team of people. He will share his views on the key to successful leadership, so that you are able to deal with the many different personalities who will place different constraints on your time. He will also provide useful insights on workplace conflict resolution. Getting your team to work together to perform requires a manager who is adaptable in their approach and indeed in how they motivate their staff and this workshop aims to provide hints and tips to address some of these key issues.
