About this event

DESCRIPTION

Led by Jeremy Watson, President of the UK's IET, this event will address many concerns about the missing"S" in the internet of things (IoT) "SECURITY and SAFETY". IoT covers a wide spectrum of human endeavour and there are great concerns about safety, security and robustness of systems and networks that will enable this massive connected environment.

Two additional industry experts will also address critical aspects of this exploding opportunity with a vast number and variety of "things" being connected through the Internet and being used to enhance and protect life. This opportunity is thought also to represent an opportunity for malicious and nefarious activities and these aspects have driven the formation of many fora to comprehend how to manage and conserve integrity in this advance in human endeavour.
